Best of May 2014

May 30, 2014

Please excuse me while I have a panic attack. Apparently it is May 30th, which leaves 3 weeks until the ecoobook comes out. I’m actually nauseous  at the thought of this considering I am very much NOT finished it. Nevertheless, good things happened in May, which are worth recapping.

I was talking with Lee yesterday about whether people actually enjoy monthly recaps. We both came to the conclusion that since we like reading each other’s, then they must be somewhat enjoyable. Despite being a certifiable stalker to most of the blogs I read, I occasionally miss a post, and knowing me it’s probably the best one they’ve ever written. So yeah, the “best of” posts are here to stay.

best of maySince I just had an epic fail on some mini frittatas I’m somewhat rushed for time aka you’re getting the abbreviated monthly recap. Here’s to another great month!

your may favsPaleo Mocha Almond Pancakes + A Mother’s Day Brunch Round-Up. I’m glad this was your top recipe for this month since this is the first recipe from the ecookbook that I shared!

Of course there’s still some food in there 😉 May saw the return of the Weekend Recap and more blogging tips. I hope to continue these through the coming months.

coming up in june-Did I mention I’m writing an ecookbook? Are you sick of me talking about it yet? I’ll be previewing a few recipes from it in the coming weeks.

-More blog talk! Part 2 of my series on Social Media and hopefully a post tailored toward promoting your recipes for food bloggers.

-A tip to Minn to see C’s fam and my bestie 🙂

-More food (obvs) but also hopefully more drink recipes! I mean at some point you gotta put down the beer…

What was your May highlight? What are you looking forward to in June? Do you like monthly recaps?

Holy crap, three weeks until the cookbook is done. You better get cracking….or you could actually delay it a week or so if it’s costing you sanity, which it might be because I hear you talking about putting down the beer. Oh wait, it’s just so you can pick up a drink. Well in that case, carry on.
