Have you ever wondered how to make whole wheat pancakes? This whole wheat pancake recipe is packed full of whole grains with dairy-free or dairy-full options for a healthier twist on traditional pancakes.

– white whole wheat flour – baking powder – salt – maple syrup  – eggs – milk (dairy or non-dairy) – vanilla extract – oil for greasing pan 

WHAT YOU NEED

In a large bowl combine whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt.

STEP ONE

In a separate bowl combine maple syrup, milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add wet ingredients to dry until just incorporated.

STEP TWO 

Melt butter or oil on a warm skillet. Scoop 1/4 cup batter onto the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
