Have your cookie dough and eat it too with these protein cottage cheese cookie dough rolled into bite-sized balls! The perfect sweet treat that is also high in protein and made with wholesome and delicious ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 1/2 cups finely blanched almond flour (I like Bob’s Red Mill)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add your cottage cheese, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour blender mixture into a large bowl and stir in protein powder, almond flour and salt.
  3. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  4. Using your hands roll your cottage cheese cookie dough into bite-sized balls (roughly golf ball sized). You should get between 15-20 balls.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or up to 3 months in a ziplock bag in the freezer.
