Honey Mustard Chicken

Looking for an easy dinner recipe that requires little prep and comes together quickly? This honey mustard chicken recipe is packed-full of delicious flavor and uses pantry staples you already have in your kitchen. Prep in advance or serve fresh!

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (smooth or grainy)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine dijon mustard, honey, garlic, olive oil and salt + pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Add in chicken thighs and coat well.
  3. Cover bowl (with a top or plastic wrap) or place all ingredients in a ziploc bag and allow to marinate in fridge for at least 4 hours. The longer the better!
  4. Remove chicken from fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
  5. Grill on stove-top or BBQ for 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. Alternatively, pour chicken and marinade into a shallow baking dish and bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezes well.
