Lavender Simple Syrup

Looking to spruce up your cocktails or coffee? Look no further than this lavender simple syrup made right at home and packed full of flavor for a delicious addition to any beverage. It comes together quickly and lasts so you don’t need to buy store-bought lavender simple syrup anymore!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup raw honey [or equivalent of any other sweetener]
  • 12 tbsp dried lavender buds

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan combine water, honey and lavender buds and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling lower heat to a simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature (about 1 hour) to let flavors infuse.
  4. Strain out lavender from syrup using a small colander, fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  5. Store lavender simple syrup in fridge for up to 1 month.
