Happy Christmukkah week! Is that a thing? I don’t know…Roll with it.
This will be my last post before I take a few days off over the holidays. I also wasn’t feeling confident that I could beat this post/podcast combo so I’m going to let you take a few days to get over it before I return with regular programming. Yes, this episode is that good.
As I was gearing up for the first season of the podcast, I had my list of dream guests. Most of them I knew in some capacity, and others I was hoping for a kind introduction from a friend. Jessica Murnane from One Part Plant was one of those people.
My dear friend Katie was kind of enough to make the introduction and I am so grateful she did. Jess was a wealth of information about everything from endometriosis, adoption and what it’s like to lead the One Part Plant movement.
You’ll also hear about:
-How her experience with endometriosis has changed since transforming her diet
-What plant-based really means
-Why she decided to adopt
-Nipples…yes, we go there.
-Stigma around adoption
-Advice for her 20 year old self
As mentioned in the episode, Jess’ cookbook comes out in 2017 and you can preorder HERE. A holiday gift to yourself
In other news, I wanted to wish those of you celebrating, a wonder holiday season! And for those of you embracing the time off, I hope you find plenty of relaxation and calm amidst the craziness of the season.
It will be a low-key Christmas/Hanukkah for me, spending time with family in SF and then off to GUATEMALA for New Years! I’ll be around so stay tuned for lots more posts coming your way next week.
Sending you all peace, love and health. Happy Holidays!
What are you doing for the holidays? Listening to “That’s So Maven” I hope 😉
