If you saw my post on Monday you know that clean beauty/makeup is something that’s been on my mind a lot recently. It’s been wonderful to see the incredible array of products now available in the clean beauty space, but it’s also making it increasingly more confusing. How does one determine what’s a quality product from one that isn’t? What about sustainability and packaging? That’s why I invited the incredible Tiila Abbitt, founder of Aether Beauty on the podcast today to discuss just that: how to make cleaner makeup choices and also support the environment.
Tiila started off her career in beauty working at Sephora in their product innovation group. It’s no surprise she learned a ton from this experience which she’s now brought to her latest venture, Aether Beauty. Aether is not only a cleaner, more sustainable makeup brand, they’re also blurring the lines between makeup and spirituality. As I’ve begun experiencing a spiritual awakening of sorts (more on this soon), I love anyone who is considering spirituality as they develop new products. This is a great conversation for anyone looking to convert their makeup bag to cleaner products and be more intentional about their makeup choices.
