Based on yesterday’s post it turns out that for some crazy reason you seem to enjoy my ramblings. Despite the many breakthroughs I have had, I still struggle with the idea that this is my blog, therefore I can talk about whatever I want, even if it has nothing to do with food or fitness. So no recipes or workout ideas for today, instead I’m letting you in on my deepest, darkest thoughts. Well more like my surface level thoughts because I don’t need you going all Freudian on my id.
1. Lately I’ve been seriously missing being a student. I wandered through The University of Toronto campus a few days ago on one of my daily walks, which likely prompted my nostalgia. For the record I did not go to U of T but it’s far superior rival, McGill. Mostly I miss my roomie (hi Sab!), my 10:30 AM workouts with the mommies at The MAA and it being perfectly acceptable to eat a giant bowl of fruit loops for dinner à la Jason Segal in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

2. I have not food prepped in 2 weeks. Most of my meals I’ve eaten out, but I have come up with some pretty creative lunches to make up for the lack of food in my house. Exhibit a) a defrosted carrot cake waffle banana and peanut butter sandwich. This is actually amazing and I’m finally starting to make a dent in my frozen waffle collection.

3. I LOVE halloween. Generally I have my costume picked out by August. This year is no exception minus the fact that I have yet to be invited to a Halloween party. Anyone want to invite me? I can’t give away my costume just yet, but let’s just say I’ve officially retired slutty Elmo…
