I think the title just about says it all.
For those of you who know me, you know I have been talking about starting a blog for a long time. Until this very moment I have been all talk. Some of the time I talk like a know-it-all, or a “maven” so-to-speak. So when I started thinking of blog names and my family suggested “The Healthy Maven” I was not at all surprised.
Truth-be-told I don’t always know what i’m talking about. In my journey to figure out who I am and what I like, I have learned a few things along the way, things that I’d like to share with you. I don’t think this gives me the right to call myself an expert or even a maven but I do hope you learn something or at the very least enjoy a delicious recipe.
The Healthy Maven is a place for me to share my mostly healthified versions of simple and delicious recipes. Every so often I might include some posts on some of my other favourite things including fitness, nutrition, books and the crazy yet wonderful life I live in between these things.
I don’t profess to be an amazing cook or an incredible baker, but I do love to experiment in the kitchen. I hope that you find as much joy in making my recipes as I do in creating them.
From this moment on I am no longer just talk. I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
