Besides blanket scarves and cozy sweaters, my favorite part of fall has got to be the soup. Soup is a huge staple in my diet through a solid 8 months of the year when the weather is cold. I’m even known to make a soup or chili in the middle of summer…It’s the reason soup recipes have probably outnumbered most others on the blog and have become a THM staple. The main reason I love soup is because it is so great to freeze! I make a big batch, freeze half and save the other half to eat through the week. Thank you Mom for teaching me all of your tricky soup ways.

  2. I’m there with you Davida, I LOOVE soup! And this is something quite recent, all through my childhood I found soup boring and always wanted to skip it to finally get to dessert, but the past 2 years or so, I came to love and crave it, I want to eat it daily (sometimes/usually twice a day: for lunch and for dinner), there is something so comforting about soup, and love how warming it is during the chilly months.

    So yes, please bring back Soup Sundays!

    These all look great, I just made Ginger-Carrot Soup for today’s lunch as I had so many carrots at home 🙂 I’ll try all the others, love the look of the Detox soup, Tortilla soup and Lentil soup. It’s just the Wild Rice one that looks a bit weird to me, I’ve never eaten rice in my soup (it looks kinda like a stew)…

    So once again: yes to Souper Sundays please!!
