This vanilla mango smoothie is high in vitamins and minerals that will help you boost your immune system and help your digestion! Bonus points: it’s absolutely delicious.

I go in phases when it comes to smoothies. There are weeks (even months!) that I enjoy a smoothie every single day and then I’ll go for months without eating any smoothies. I love them in the summer because they’re cool and refreshing but I also love them when it’s cool and gloomy out and I need a little sunshine in my life! This vanilla mango smoothie is perfect for year round – the mango is bright and refreshing while the vanilla makes it feel like a cozy, comforting meal. Enjoy!

Here’s What You Need:

  • mango
  • banana
  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • vanilla extract
  • vanilla protein powder – optional but I recommend adding protein powder to keep you fuller longer.

Fresh or Frozen Mango

I used frozen mango for this smoothie for two reasons: it makes the smoothie icy cold and it’s easy to keep frozen mango on hand! Having said that, you can absolutely use fresh mango if you have that on hand or it’s in season and you want to use fresh. I personally think fresh mango is much more flavorful so it makes this smoothie extra delicious!

Health Benefits of Mango

Mangos are packed with vitamins and minerals – especially vitamin C which helps boost immunity. It also has a ton of antioxidants and digestive enzymes. So if you have digestive issues or feel a cold coming on, this is a a great smoothie to add into the rotation.

  1. While I do like the idea of pumpkin….I might be going to the beach next week so I am absolutely not ready to let go of summer yet. Fall is my favourite, but give me another few weeks 😉

  2. I love your chart of all the ingredients! All it takes is a quick look and I’ll be able to remember the gist of what’s in it to make it.

Haha I wrote a little bit about my bad relationship w Pinterest today….I’m just getting into it for business purposes as well, otherwise I’d rather not dabble with, unless i need Halloween decoration and food ideas! That’s my favooooorite time of year!!!

    Take care!

  3. Pinterest is confusing the heck out of me also!! There are heirloom tomato tarts next to copycat PSL recipes. What is a girl to do?!

I’m staying the neutral ground right now. With chocolate. But I approve of smoothie consumption also!

  4. Staying in on a Saturday and pinning away IS a treat. A little embarrassing, yes, but I get it. Also, I’m SO CONFUSED on what I’m supposed to be pinning/posting/eating. I want pumpkin but, like you said, the weather is telling me otherwise.

  5. Hahaha I hear you! Its still hot (and humid!) over here in Virginia, so I think it’ll be smoothie weather for awhile 🙂

  6. This smoothie sounds heavenly! Is the protein powder necessary? I don’t have any 🙁

  7. August is way too early for pumpkin lattes! It’s supposed to be 90 degrees today. So not fall. I have all the ingredients for this in my house now YAY! And I’m a total Pinterest addict!

  8. LOVE the graphic at the bottom- keep the smoothie recipes coming because its (apparently) supposed to be Summer here soon and soon you guys will be whipping out crock pots.

    Pinterest….a time suck.

  9. I am in denial about summer but will never deny fall foods lol. I do like pinterest but only really use it for searching recipes. Sometimes I like the quotes and pretty soon I think I will focusing on the Bar Mitzvah ideas. I am pretty sure that the Bar Mitzvah date which is two years from now is going to be here before I know it!
