35 Healthy and Delicious Soup Recipes To Keep You Warm All Winter Long!

November 21, 2014

This round-up was a long time coming. By now you should know that I love soup. It’s my favourite quick and easy meal, you can pack em’ full of veggies and protein and you can make big batches all at once.

The Ultimate Soup Recipe Round-Up: 35 Healthy Soup Recipes to keep you warm all winter long!

My love of soup comes from my Mom who I have mentioned before is the queen of soups. Growing up there was always some kind of soup in the fridge and at least 4 other options in the freezer. She single-handedly kept me fed in university thanks to her many trips back and forth between Toronto and Montreal with a freezer full of soup in tow. At some point I knew I couldn’t depend on my Mom any longer (though I admit she still drops off soup at my apartment on occasion!) and had to learn to make them myself.

The sky really is the limit with soups. Odds are if you throw a bunch of veggies and meat or beans in a pot with some spices and stock, it’s gonna taste awesome. But if you’re not quite comfortable attempting this, I’ve rounded up 35 Healthy Soup Recipes that will definitely keep you warm all winter long! Let’s get to it…

I am really not all that creative with soup so a recipe roundup is very much appreciated! Soup is one of those things I keep wanting to get into but never seem to, kind of like yoga 🙂 Curried tomato soup sounds really interesting.

YESSS I’m definitely a soup person! I’m planning on making chicken-less noodle soup sometime next week, and want to whip up French onion sometime soon as well.

Ohhhhh it’s definitely one of my favorite things to get at cafes like Corner Bakery and Panera!!! 😀 Now I really want chicken noodle…like, bad…haha. I would like to see clam chowder with a healthy twist! I don’t know how one could make it taste legit with less fat and all that jazz but I’m sure it’s quite possible 🙂
