It is officially fall here in Minnesota and that means it’s time to bring on the soups, stews, squash and brussel sprouts! I’m a summer baby but I love fall. As a glorified soup aficionado, it really is my season to shine. I’m also just SO ready for some comfort food once the weather cools. So it’s time to turn those ovens on with these fall dinner ideas!

But first, let’s chat about what’s in season during the fall months.

Fall Seasonal Ingredients

The flavors of fall are pretty classic but which ingredients are actually in season during fall? It’s actually quite a lot! Mainly because of harvest season, a lot of summer veggies (tomatoes, peppers etc…) actually still are enjoyed in the fall months but with cooler temps comes a whole slew of other fruits and vegetables. Here are some ideas:
